Join us on the Cohasset Town Common for handmade art and craft,
music, food, and fun!


South Shore Art Center Arts Festival mixes the best of small town New England summer festivals with an uncommon attention to detail and commitment to presenting quality art and handmade craft.

South Shore Art Center Arts Festival celebrates its 64th year and showcases craft and fine artists from New England and beyond. In addition to over 85 juried exhibitor booths, the Arts Festival features a juried art exhibition and members’ show, live music performances, artist demonstrations, children’s art activities and a young artist exhibition.

The Arts Festival draws over 9,000 visitors from the Greater Boston region to historic, oceanside Cohasset Common.

Park at South Shore Music Circus

Parking near the Cohasset Common is extremely limited and South Shore Art Center provides free shuttle service on Friday and Sunday from the South Shore Music Circus parking lots located a short distance away, on Sohier St.

Parking at Deer Hill School is available on Saturday.

Shuttle is wheelchair accessible

The shuttle service will run beginning one hour before Festival opening, and will stop running one hour after closing, daily.

Parking will be well-marked along Sohier Street.

 

 

 

Craft Exhibitors
   

 


From beyond Greater Boston: Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike or other
highway to Route 128/Interstate 95 on the outskirts of Boston.
Follow Route 128 southwards to Braintree Split.
(Do not follow I-95 South when it turns off toward Providence.)

From within Greater Boston: Follow the Southeast Expressway/ Interstate
93 southwards past Milton and Quincy to Braintree.
At Braintree Split, follow Route 3 to the south toward Cape Cod.
Take Exit 14 off Route 3 and turn left off the ramp onto Hingham Street.
Go through two sets of lights to cross Washington Street (Route 53) to
join Route 228 North into Hingham.
Follow Route 228 as it winds through Hingham
to the lights at the intersection of Route 3A.
Take a right onto Route 3A and follow for about 3 miles.
Take a left onto Sohier Street.
(You will see signs for the Music Circus.)
The Art Center is located at the end of Ripley Road on the right hand side.
