Part Time Art Instructors

Instructors for both adult and children's classes or workshops in all media, particularly cartooning. Adult classes are eight to ten weeks in length and children's classes are 8 weeks, four terms per year. Workshops are held throughout the year.

Volunteer Opportunities

The South Shore Art Center is always looking for volunteer help.


Clerical/Mailing:

Spend time at the Reception Desk meeting people, answering phones, sales at the Gallery Shop, or get together with friends and complete mailings.


Exhibitions:

Help with hanging exhibitions, receiving artwork, running artwork for judges, gallery sitting during exhibitions.


Docents:

Learn more about the current exhibitions and artists and share information with interested groups.


Festival on the Common:

An annual event. Help with any of the many facets of this event, including; planning, hostessing, and setting up exhibitions.


Special Events:

Planning, organizing and running events.
